I have never posted a topless picture/ any kid of nude picture of my tumblr but..This is SO AWESOME. A muslim woman protesting the burka. In some countries, muslim women are raped and beaten for showing even their noses and mouths. In some places, they get their hands chopped off for showing their wrists, or looking at a man.
This picture is so inspiring and outrageous in the best way possible, and it makes me so so happy. Wow is all i have to say. Stand up for your human rights.

Where are the statistics for how many men are dieting?
How many advertisements do men see that show them how they “should look?”
How many have been raped or beaten?
What about every other gender?
I’m so sick of just seeing advertisements to raise awareness for women’s safety and mental security.
You aren’t the only fucking people who are being subjected to violence, sky-high beauty standards, pregnancy, or depression.

This is the dumbest comparison I’ve seen in a long time.
Why not compare the amount of money the world spends on food that goes to waste? How much we donate to food banks? You know, two things that are actually fucking relevant to one another?
Some movie a bunch of middle aged women went to see with their girlfriends one afternoon is not the end of the world. Not to mention the fact that this movie didn’t even do all that well in comparison to the first film (or the average blockbuster). Out of every movie you could compare this to, why choose one of the only female-oriented franchises when it isn’t even the most absurdly high grossing (or, frankly, one of the worst out there)? The most recent Transformers movie made over one billion dollars this year. Sex and the City 2 barely made a quarter of that the year before.
Not only is this comparison completely irrelevant, but it seems to show how fucking unfair society is toward female produced and oriented films.
